Manta ray encounter in the Maldives

I got certified just as I turned 12, and have been diving every year since then.  Certifications I have earned over the years include NAUI Jr. Open Water, NAUI Open Water, PADI Advanced Open Water, PADI Rescue Diver, and PADI drysuit and Nitrox certifications.

Diving is a great sport!  It's a great excuse to travel to exotic tropical destinations.  And it's truly a different world down there.

Some of the places I've been diving include the south Florida coast (where I grew up), the Florida Keys, Pensacola Florida, all over the Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, the Turks and Caicos Islands, Cozumel and the Yucatan in Mexico, Belize, Honduras, Bonaire & Curacao, the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, the Maldives, the Philippines, Monterey Bay and Anacapa Island in California, and off the island of Vulcano in Italy.
